What is it about cats and sewing???

Nothing unique here, but cats getting in the way! They sleep all day and ignore me...unless there is an opportunity to 'help'.

 

I'm rushing to try to get this Thicket quilt done for my almost 8 year old's bday next week. Hard enough wrestling the quilt, much less with a huge Maine Coon cat on it!! I seriously moved him like 7 times, but he kept coming back up, and napping/glaring at me for tugging at the quilt and waking him up. Silly kitty!! 

Pretty excited for this quilt. Total improv around the panels, so now trying different quilting with my walking foot. Looks awesome...taking forever!
